The United States has so many diverse destinations that it is almost impossible to set apart the places to be called the best in the country. Therefore, we considered such factors as accommodations, dining, and attraction alternatives. Moreover, we took into account tourists’ feedback and, of course, the convenience, availability, and cost of air travel. When it comes to the availability of an air route, we must admit that the country has the most developed network of air travel. Thousands of air routes are maintained daily, and you may choose any of them. For instance, if you live in Boston, you may fly practically everywhere within the US at all prices starting from the medium-priced flight Boston – Juneau, Alaska, and ending with cheap flights Boston — Detroit.
Destinations to Visit
Further, we may go through some places that would be nice to visit once you decide to travel to the United States.
San Francisco
Scott Mackenzie, in his popular song, recommended wearing some flowers in your hair. This song has made San Francisco a.k.a. Frisco rather famous. However, we all know that the Golden Gate is that very landmark that has made the city internationally recognized. If you are a gourmet and foodie, just consider this city — it has some of the best restaurants in the world. The highlights are the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Alcatraz Island, and Golden Gate Park.
Los Angeles
This is the Hollywood realm. Moreover, do not forget about Disneyland. These two attractions made this city outstanding in not only America but also all over the world. Find time to visit Universal Studios Theme Park or Disneyland. Keep in mind that once you are in LA, you have the chance to stroll about the Hollywood Walk of Fame and visit Griffith Observatory. The main landmarks include Hollywood, Disneyland, Griffith Observatory, and Hollywood Boulevard.
Washington D.C.
It is needless to say traveling to the capital of the USA must be included in the itinerary of any tourist. Walk to the iconic Washington Monument — the eminent obelisk constructed to eternalize the memory of George Washington, the first President, and visit the White House, the home of the incumbent President. The highlights include the Washington Monument, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and the US Capitol.
