DIY Home Brewing Class

902 Brewing Company

There will be a free DIY home brewing class and beer sampling with Hoboken’s own 902 Brewing Company at the Hoboken Public Library on Saturday, April 26, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The demonstration will be given by the founders of 902 Brewing Company, who started out with a 3 gallon pot and home brewing kit before officially forming the LLC and upgrading to a 15 gallon, all-grain brewing system. Recently having raised $36K via Kickstarter, 902 Brewing Company is looking to start an actual brewery in Hoboken.

Participants will have the opportunity to sample some of 902’s award winning beer to inspire their palates. The Hoboken Public Library will also have a display of DIY home brewing books as well as home brewing history books for anyone interested in further exploring the medium. This is sure to be really fun and informative event for anyone who appreciates beer and wants to show support of a growing local business. Must be 21 or over to attend.
