GFW2014 Finds New Home at Northern Soul For Annual Benefit Concert

by Lauren Scrudato

The 6th Annual Concert to Benefit Global Fund for Women (GFW2014) will be held at Northern Soul in Hoboken on April 5 at 8 p.m.

The event, hosted by Stephen Bailey, aims to get you dancing and jamming while raising money for an important cause.

Founded in 1987, Global Fund for Women is an advocate for women’s rights around the world. The organization awards grants to support other women’s groups, and promotes the health, safety, education and leadership of women and girls globally.

Organized by local drummer Nelson Pla and presented by Clueless Events, the benefit concert will feature performances by Bern & Brights, Christina Alessi, Jaime Della Fave, and clueLess, along with a few surprise special guests.

The event is free to attend, but there will be raffles and a donation table to help raise money.

Visit cluelessevents.org for more information on the event or globalfundforwomen.org to learn more about Global Fund for Women.
