Fourth Annual Hoboken Comedy Festival 2013

Enjoy six nights worth of gut-busting laughs in various Hoboken hot spots for the fourth annual Hoboken Comedy Festival beginning Oct. 1. This year’s event will top last year’s sold out festival with headliners like Keith Alberstadt from SNL, Moody McCarthy from Late Show with David Letterman, Thomas Dale from Chelsea Lately and Hoboken’s own Artie Lange, who will close out the week on Oct. 6 at Pilsener Haus.

The goal of this year’s humor celebration is to double the $1,200 raised last year for festival partner Liberty Humane Society, an organization that helps adoptable animals find new homes.

Over 30 comedians will hit up the stage at six different locations, so plan your week accordingly and don’t miss these highlights:

  • Celebrate Hump Day by grabbing a drink at Willie McBride’s Irish Pub and Restaurant while cracking up to Moody McBride, Seaton Smith and Calise Hawkins.

  • See Artie Lange perform on Sunday at 8 p.m. at Pilsener Haus for just $45.

  • Discover new talent as aspiring comics perform during the week in front of industry leaders for their chance at fame.

  • Buy a calendar with your favorite funny man or woman to raise money for Liberty Humane Society.

What’s better than a night full of jokes and drinks while simultaneously helping adorable pets? Whether you come out for a date night or gather a group of friends together, its an all around feel-good type of night, every night from Oct. 1-6.
