Music, Lights and Raffles at City Place’s Tree & Seasonal Lighting Ceremony

by Lauren Scrudato

Throw on an extra fleece, gather your family and head over to City Place in Edgewater at 5 p.m. tonight to see everything this year’s Tree & Seasonal Lighting Ceremony has to offer.

Here’s a list of a few of the highlights:

  • Watch a talented ice sculptor transform a block of ice into a beautiful wintery skyline.

  • Hear performances from The Garage Theatre Group’s Youth Conservatory, Eleanor Van Gelder School Choir and The Professional Arts Academy. A live DJ playing will also be playing your favorite seasonal favorites.

  • Enter the holiday raffle, which benefits Edgewater Public Schools, for your chance to win an array of incredible prizes, the best of which is a 5 day winter cruise to an exotic beach for two.

  • Post your best festive photograph to City Place’s Facebook page before midnight on November 24th. You’ll be entered to win a $75 Bareburger gift card through the Most Liked Paparazzi Contest.

This holiday event helps the community and local schools thrive year after year, so enjoy a night out filled with entertainment, shopping and prizes.
