NJ Running Company Opens Its Doors In Hoboken

by Lauren Scrudato

If you vowed to exercise more in 2014, this bitter cold weather is probably deterring you from doing so. So use NJ Running Company’s Grand Opening as the motivation to be active.

The events kick off tomorrow with a 2XU Compression & Mizuno lead run at 7pm. After you break in those new running shoes you got for Christmas, NJ Running Company will provide food from
Sushi Lounge right in the store. You can also enter to win a free Mizuno prize pack, including a hat, water bottle and tote bag with any Mizuno purchase.

Then the festivities continue through the weekend–

Friday: Ladies, get your friends together for Girl’s Night Out. There will be sweets from Polkadot Cupcake Truck and deals from Moving Comfort, New Balance, and The North Face, so you can start running in style. Fit, Soul, and Spice and Hoboken Mommies will also be there to chat. If you can’t go at night, there will still be raffles and giveaways all day long, and you’ll have two opportunities to test out NJ Running Company’s community yoga classes with Devotion Yoga at 8am or 7pm.

Saturday: Embrace the NFL post-season with an 11am Nike Gridiron Run featuring football skill-based challenges along the way. And if you’re looking to extend your workout, Crossfit Hoboken will conduct workouts at 1 and 3 pm. After you sweat out all that alcohol and sweets from the night before, grab a free custom heat press t-shirt from Nike.

Sunday: Do Sunday Funday NJ Running Co. style with an easy run beginning at 10am, and then test your skills at corn hole while you score some refreshments. You can also snag a $10 iTunes gift card with any purchase of Brooks shoes.

As an added bonus, every item bought during the Grand Opening weekend will count as one raffle ticket towards a daily prize pack.
