Have you ever imagined humans and dogs alike being able to enjoy frozen treats, together, in one gathering of man and canine bliss? Club Barks did, and better yet, they planned it! On August 13th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, the “Ice Cream Social” will be taking place right outside of Club Barks in Jersey City. How is this possible, you ask? Well, with the help of two awesome mobile ice cream trucks, of course. Check out the participants:
For the pups
Frosty Pooch is New Jersey’s first ice cream truck for dogs! They will be serving homemade frozen treats for every puppy palate to enjoy. Treat your pup to a Frosty Pooch Puppsicle — an all natural and lactose free peanut butter flavored Popsicle or a Frosty Pooch 2 oz. Ice Cream Cup that comes in flavors like Bacon, Bacon/Peanut Butter, Banana/Apple and many more. For the dogs with a bigger bite, check out the Frosty Pooch Woofle Bowl — A 6 oz. bowl filled with a choice of one of their famous ice creams. Along with their selection of cool treats, Frosty Pooch also sells their homemade pooch-friendly peanut butters, smoothies and even doggie toys.
For the people
Milk Sugar Love is an ice cream vendor based out of Jersey City with the simple mission of providing great ice cream.Milk Sugar Love’s creator has had a longtime love for ice cream, inspiring her to bring great ice cream (that is churned with love) to a great area. Grab yourself a cone of classic Vanilla Bean made with organic Madagascar vanilla beans, Salted Caramel or Stumptown Coffee.
Both Frosty Pooch and Milk Sugar Love will be parked outside of Club Barks, waiting for you and your pooch on August 13th, giving you and your pooch the opportunity to socialize with other ice cream lovers. Fur or no fur, there’s an ice cream with your name on it at Club Barks’ “Ice Cream Social.”
