The New Jersey Vegan Food Festival is making its way back to the Meadowlands Exposition Center on November 12 and 13. This two-day celebration will feature delicious plant-based meals, desserts, and treats from local spots around the tri-state area. If you’re looking for samples, meal inspiration, or some great food, this is the perfect event for you.
The sixth annual NJ VegFest is adding gluten-free vendors, live music, and plant-based fashion to this year’s agenda. According to Vogue Business, plant-based fashion is a more ethical approach to material sourcing. Using plant-based materials to mass produce items will also help reduce the industry’s carbon footprint— and, therefore, have less harm to the environment.
This year’s event will host almost 60 plant-based vendors. Here’s a look at some of the vendors in attendance for the 2022 NJ VegFest:
Green Fusion – Ridgewood, NJ
This plant-based spot was named Best Vegan Restaurant in New Jersey by 201 Magazine earlier this year. Their menu features items like pizzas, a truffle mushroom burger, and much more.
Butter Me Up – Toms River, NJ
A popular south Jersey bakery will also be attending this year’s festival. With sweet treats like strawberry butter and lavender scones, you won’t want to miss their stand.
Feasty Vegan – Morristown, NJ
This specialty market offers items like savory vegan cheeses to rich desserts, be sure to check out more of their goodies at the upcoming festival.
All Roads Baked Goods and Coffee – Jefferson, NJ
All Roads Baked Goods and Coffee has gluten-free and vegan pastry options. Vegan breakfast sandwiches, freshly baked pop-tarts, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and so much more. It’s impossible to not want one of everything!
Barrett’s Garden
This company is sold in over 30 locations across the east coast. They created dairy-free, vegan and kosher cheeses. With flavors like Sriracha Lime and tofu-based ricotta, their specialty vegan cheeses are worth the hype.
Fresh Factor Juice – NYC
Fresh Factor Juice specializes in refreshing and nutritional juices. With ingredients like coconut water, raspberries, kale, apple, carrot, ginger, and so much more, their recipes are a great source of vitamins and minerals. The tasty juice is just an added bonus.
NJ Vegan Food Festival Location and Details
The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Meadowlands Exposition Center and will continue until 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
