Atlantic City casinos and online gambling combined for a record-breaking $606.2 million in gaming revenue in July.

The figure represented a 10.7% increase compared to July of last year, according to data from the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Internet gaming revenue reached a new high of $247.3 million, up 26.6% from last year. Casino win from the city’s nine properties climbed 4.3% to $284.1 million, while sports wagering revenue slipped 6.6% to $74.8 million.

Borgata led the market with $79.9 million in casino revenue. Hard Rock followed with $55.1 million, while Ocean Casino grew to $43.1 million.

Despite record growth in online play, in-person casino revenue outpaced internet gaming for the third straight month. Industry analysts noted that summer tourism and resort attractions continued to draw strong crowds at New Jersey’s casinos.

The industry also showed solid year-to-date momentum. Total gaming revenue across casinos, racetracks, and their partners reached $3.92 billion through July, up 8.8% compared to the same period in 2024. Casino wins stood at $1.66 billion, 2.2% higher than last year, while internet gaming generated $1.63 billion, up 23.3%. Sports wagering posted $626.8 million, a 4% decline.

State officials highlighted that July was only the second month this year in which gaming revenue topped $600 million, underscoring the strength of both digital platforms and brick-and-mortar operations.
