Whether you’re furnishing an apartment or just sprucing up a home, chances are you’re not trying to break the bank. Websites like Amazon and Wayfair or Target and Walmart are popular retailers when it comes to affordable home decor, but there’s a plethora of lesser-known options available if you just do a little digging. Luckily, I’ve done all the hard work for you and mapped out seven of my favorite inexpensive home decor websites to shop from. It’s amazing where a few extra clicks of the mouse will get you.
1. H&M
Maybe not the first place you’d look for home decor, however H&M‘s cool European style carries over from its clothes. (And so do the low price tags.) On their website, you can find affordable dupes for expensive items or shop their new outdoor collection just in time for summer. Their casual-luxe offerings include sculptural lamps, statement chandeliers, velvet furniture, sleek accent pieces and housewares.
2. World Market
You could consider Cost Plus World Market your one-stop shop for every home decor need you could ever want to fulfill. Seriously, they have everything (including food). And more often than not, they’re having a sale. The retailer is even beloved by many professional designers, and I’ve spotted a piece or two in the homes of Bravo “Housewives” and celebrities alike.
3. Magnolia
Fans of “Fixer Upper” already know that Magnolia is essentially a Joanna Gaines wonderland. Gaines’ signature rustic-industrial style is more accessible than ever via room decor, greenery, candles, kitchenware and even live plants. If you can’t make it out to their Waco store, this might just be the next best thing.
4. McGee & Co.
A fellow Target partner, this husband-and-wife team is better known under the name Studio McGee. Together, they launched McGee & Co, which is website that features shoppable pieces the two often use in their designs, as well as handpicked items that match the couple’s modern and classic aesthetic. Think bright, clean and calming spaces that mix in natural, organic elements.
5. Zara Home
Did you know this fashion retailer also dabbled in home decor? Just like their clothes, the Zara Home line is super chic and looks way more expensive than it actually is. Which is always a plus. The “essentials” or bedding is what they’re favored for, but their kitchen and living room accessories have a similar sophisticated feel your friends and family will envy.
6. Urban Outfitters
Whether your vibe is more bohemian or mid-century modern, the home collection from Urban Outfitters offers up a little bit for everyone (and every kind of space). From bathroom accents to natural wood furniture and fun planters, there’s no shortage of eclectic decor to brighten up the mood of your home.
7. Society6
Society6 is the holy grail for affordable art. Best of all, they support artists from far and wide across the world. (So I’m sure you can find something that suits your style. Although, it can be overwhelming.) They offer framed prints, canvas, murals or posters, and not only does their merchandise liven up your walls, they also sell inexpensive home decor— throw pillows, comforters, shower curtains, etc—with the same art prints.
