A Glimpse Into Downtown Somerville’s Events – Summer/Fall 2024

Somerville’s event calendar is packed with activities that cater to all interests, ensuring that there’s always something exciting happening in town. Here are some of the highlights for 2024:

Summer Stage on Division Street

Runs through September 14. Looking for live music? Follow the tunes to Division Street, where youll find the Summer Stage, Bring your folding chairs and a healthy appetite. You can eat at one of Somerville’s many restaurants. Click HERE to see the concert lineup.

Starlit Cinema

Enjoy a movie under the stars every Thursday night on Division Street. Bring a blanket and some snacks to watch family-friendly films in an open-air setting. See the movie lineup HERE.

Friday Night Cruise Nights

This annual tradition for 30+ years, Cruise Nights features the coolest classic and custom cars on the East Coast! Car enthusiasts can admire the vehicles while making new friends.

Paint Your Pet

July 25, 2024 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Unleash your inner artist! Paint a portrait of your furry friend. Photo deadline is July 20 2024. Tickets are $60 / each. Register HERE. Event will be held at 16a Division Street Somerville, NJ.

National Night Out

August 6, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m,. at Carol Pager Park (across from the YMCA). Bring the entire family to meet Somerville’s finest police officers! Enjoy FREE food, games, music and giveaways.

Turkey Trot

The ninth annual Somerville 5K Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 9am. Register now for early bird pricing! (Get it, early “bird”? Haha!)

Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage

Travel back in time to discover the well-preserved buildings and relics at these historical locations, offering a window into Somerville’s early years during the time of the American Revolutionary War.

Dukes Farm Farmers Market

Now located at Somerville Middle School at 51 W Cliff St., the Market offers a community space where local farmers and artisans gather to sell fresh, locally sourced produce and handmade goods. This market operates seasonally, providing an array of vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy products, baked goods, and other specialty items.

Somerset County 4-H Fair

August 7, 8, 9 at North Branch Park in the neighboring town of Bridgewater. A fair not to be missed! Activities, animals, food, music, rides and so much more! Vendors and non-profits are welcome, too!
