Kickoff to Hudson Restaurant Week
Need an excuse to try out a new restaurant or dine at one of your local favorites? Starting today and running until February 3rd, is Hudson Restaurant Week, where some of our favorite restaurants throughout the Hudson County area will be participating with different lunch and dinner dining specials.
Being that this is the 13th anniversary for Hudson Restaurant Week, not only are there many returning restaurants, but a few newcomers as well. If you’re looking to indulge with a juicy burger or steak, stop by Liberty Prime Steakhouse in Jersey City. Monday through Friday Liberty Prime will be having $20 lunch specials and $40 dinner specials. Another one of our favorites is Mitchell’s Fish Market Restaurant in Edgewater. With lunch and dinner specials featuring their Seafood Paella, Grilled Salmon Burger and Sharkfin Pie, you can’t go wrong. Stop in Monday through Sunday for a $15 lunch or a $30 dinner and see for yourself.
The newcomers to Hudson Restaurant Week include Halifax in Hoboken, Havana Cafe in Hoboken, The Hutton in Jersey City Heights and City Perch in Fort Lee. For a fun and bright atmosphere, be sure to check out Halifax right on the waterfront. People typically find themselves coming in again and again for their bottomless brunches, but this week they’ll have lunch and dinner specials Monday through Friday featuring their Deviled Eggs, Ricotta Cavatelli and Flourless Chocolate Cake. If you’re in the Fort Lee area, make sure to make a reservation for City Perch Kitchen & Bar’s $35 dinner special. The overall ambiance and modernized dining room makes for a great experience while trying their Seared Chilean Seabass. Oh, and iPic Theaters is right upstairs.
Wherever you catch yourself this week, make sure to make a reservation for one of the 46 participating restaurants in Hudson Restaurant Week. Maybe you’ll even find your new favorite spot!
