A magical evening of fine wine and gourmet bites awaits those who purchase a ticket to an exclusive dining event at the award-winning Rat’s Restaurant in Hamilton, NJ.  In collaboration with Gaja Wine, Rat’s Restaurant will be hosting an intimate wine pairing dinner on March 18.

This one-night-only event will offer an elevated, five-course dining experience set amidst the restaurant’s artsy ambiance. Constellation, the restaurant’s distinguished culinary team, has curated an exquisite menu that perfectly compliments the evening’s Gaja Wine selection. For this dinner, there is a $230 dining fee per person that already includes tax and gratuity. Guests will only dine with those in their party and each group will be seated at separate tables throughout the restaurant.

The Gaja Wine Dinner will start with an amuse-bouche of Ca Del Bosco Franciacorta wine and an Osetra caviar cone. Next, a glass of Idda Etna Bianco 2019 compliments a plate of vitello tonnato, a Piedmontese dish. The second course includes Gaja’s Ca’Marcanda Magari 2018 wine, octopus and langoustine, completed with gigante beans with olives and raisins

The following course is a veal tongue risotto, rapini and carnaroli with a sweet Brunello di Montalcino Restituta 2015 wine. The fourth course is a flavorful boar rack, fava beans, and tagliatelle with ragu served with a 2017 Barbaresco wine. Finally, for dessert, delicate chianti madeleines.

Rat’s Restaurant is excited to work with this acclaimed wine brand to present an astounding night out for its guests. Located inside the beautiful Grounds for Sculpture outdoor museum, Rats has been serving authentic, country French cuisine for more than two decades. Luscious greenery and waterfalls surround the impressionist-inspired chateau during the warm seasons. In the wintertime, the setting is just as tranquil when blanketed under layers of sparkling snow.
