The menu features traditional Peruvian dishes with a modern twist and the food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The culinary program is helmed by acclaimed Executive Chef, Jesus Delgado.
Peruvian cuisine features a culmination of flavors from South America as well as China and Japan due to an excess of immigrants from each country over the last 100 years. Chinese Peruvian cusine is often known as Chifa, while the Japanese counterpart is called Nikkei. This means Peru features several cuisines throughout it’s complex geography. This mash-up of flavors creates a unique cuisine that differs from many of its neighboring countries. Jarana is no different in their quest to bring the flavors of Peru to New Jersey.
