Veteran to the VMA stage, 14x nominee Demi Lovato returns for an electrifying performance for the first time in six years. Her past VMA appearances have been nothing short of memorable, from her show-stopping debut in 2015 “Cool for the Summer” to her cheeky rendition of “Sorry Not Sorry” just two years later. As a highly acclaimed artist, she also took home the award in 2012 for “Best Video with a Message.” This year, Lovato is up for two more awards, including the two categories of “Best Pop” and “Video for Good.” Additionally, her highly-anticipated new rock album, REVAMPED is scheduled to be released only days following the performance on September 15th. The album features rock renditions of her great hits, such as Cool For The Summer (Rock Version) and Confident (Rock Version).

Columbian global music sensation Karol G is set to make history as she awakens “Bichota Season” on stage for her debut VMA performance. The songstress is no stranger to record-breaking achievements as she has earned the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart as the first woman to ever debut at #1 with an album in Spanish. Taking a break from her first-ever stadium tour, Karol G is competing for a VMA win as a first-time nominee, up for three awards, including one of the most prestigious categories, “Artist of the Year.”

4x nominated Italian rock band Måneskin prepares for their sophomore year return to the iconic VMA stage for a global live launch of their new single “HONEY (ARE YOU COMING?),” releasing September 1. Last year’s debut US award show appearance boasted a historic win for the group as they acclaimed the award for “Best Alternative.” Måneskin continues to break boundaries with their latest album RUSH!, which is expected to surpass one billion streams. The global rock sensation continues to dominate records for their nomination for “Best Rock” as they are the first Italian act to be nominated in a main show category for two consecutive years in a row.

Globally acclaimed South Korean K-POP boy band, Stray Kids, are set to embark on their first-ever US performance of “S-CLASS”, the latest breaking single of their top-charted #1 album 5-Star. The group is vying for a chance to take home their first-ever MTV award as they are nominated for “Best K-pop”, the very category that earned them their introductory nomination in 2022.
