Today on The Digest, we’re sharing a rundown of our favorite New Jersey food influencers you should be following for the dining, cooking and pasta twirling inspiration your Instagram feed needs.

Subjectively, the Garden State’s food scene is one of the best. From quality Italian food to notorious ice cream parlors that’ll leave you planning your next visit, it’s hard to imagine you’ll ever run out of spots to try. Luckily for you, following the journey of our state’s foodies ensures you won’t have to.

We’ve highlighted 12 New Jersey food influencers below who will undoubtedly keep you hungry 24/7. We promise that your homepage will become increasingly mouth watering once you hit that follow button.

@FlavorBehavior consistently puts top-notch dishes on the radar from New Jersey and New York. As you quickly become captured by the team’s delicious content, make sure to also take a look through their growing list of Black-owned restaurants for more dining ideas.

Jersey City-based @Leslie_eats is a recipe hub for gluten-free and dairy-free eating. Whether it’s a batch of chocolate chip banana walnut muffins you’re in the mood for or some marinated chicken wings, you’ll be racing to try your professional chef’s hand in the kitchen and follow along.

You can count on @Jerseatgirl to take you on a tasty tour that begins in North Jersey and makes its way to the Shore. All of her eats are photographed from various angles, and we can confirm that her linguine and clams obsession will rub off on you sooner rather than later.

For all questions that are Hoboken food-related, @hoboken_eats is your answer. Her page is full of content you’ll wish you could taste through your screen, and is an ideal follow if you’re new to the Hoboken area or looking to expand your palate at a spot you frequent.

As another Hoboken-based foodie, @hashtagfoodpic will have you gravitating towards any pasta dish on the menu thanks to her noodle pulls. You’ll always remain in the know about menu updates and food holidays when following along with her posts. What’s more important than National Mac And Cheese Day, anyway?

Not only does @dineinaflash motivate us to visit new North Jersey and NYC restaurants for the food, but we also get a glimpse of the cocktails on the menu. Her page also includes deeper dives into the dining scene with video content, which is a nice change-up from pictures.

⚡️ Every woman in this world wears a little sparkle, some in their dress, and some in their cocktail. One of my favorite cocktails is by @mathewsfoodanddrink in Jersey City, NJ as it’s cute and delicious too! Can’t make it to Jersey City? No worries, I found a similar recipe online that you can make at home. Make sure to save this post for later. INGREDIENTS 60ml Gin 30ml Passionfruit Juice 15ml Fresh Lime Juice 15ml Lavender Syrup 30 ml Egg White DIRECTIONS Combine all ingredients into a tin & shake (without ice) for 10 secs to froth the foam. Add in a few ice cubes and whip for a few more seconds. Double strain into a coup glass and garnish with edible glitter 📸 “80s Glam”, with gin, passionfruit, lime, lavender, egg white, and topped with edible glitter

The @hobokenfoodie team’s dining experiences take us through Hoboken and beyond. In addition to all of their flavourful food pictures, they also dabble in-home cooking and will often post savory recipes you can take a crack at.

@talkdirty2yourfood’s content will make you want to eat an entire sandwich in one bite, while reminding you that Hoboken is one of the most scenic cities of all. Don’t try this one at home kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ ••• one of my favorite dishes ever is Nobu’s crispy rice + spicy tuna. @honsauce sent me some delicious spicy mayos to try, so I decided to recreate it myself! I picked up some sushi grade tuna and sushi rice from @saku_hoboken and did the damn thang! Hoboken doesn’t have any supermarkets where you can buy sushi grade fish that i know of, so call up your favorite restaurant and buy some sashimi and it will do the trick. Soooo…let me tell you all, this was HARD AF!! It took me an hour and a half to get those crispy rice cakes done and I got some battle wounds along the way. In the end it was worth it, but I sure as hell will never do that again !! Lovedddd @honsauce white truffle spicy mayo so much! Imma put that on everything I eat. #talkdirty2yourfood

@the.traveling.foodies can be described exactly by their handle. Based in Hoboken, they’re always venturing near and far to bring us fresh bites. Their page will certainly spark some traveling by way of their out-of-state eats, so don’t forget to press save on those restaurant posts.

If we can tell you one thing, it’s that your healthy eating journey needs @_littlemissfoodie. Her enticing Instagram page features easy-to-follow muffin, cookie and sauce recipes that include simple ingredients, and taste just as phenomenal as they appear on your phone screen.

this morning i made these LEMON BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 🍋🧁 to take with us on a lake/camping trip this week! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ what i love about these is that you make the batter in a blender (hello easy) and they are nut free 💯 they're also perfect for summer because this flavor is light & refreshing! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 very ripe bananas 2 eggs 2 cups rolled oats 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted ¼ c maple syrup (honey works) 1 tbsp vanilla extract 3 tsp lemon extract (4tbsp if using lemon juice) 1tbsp lemon zest 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon pinch of salt 1c fresh blueberries preheat oven to 350f. Prepare muffin tin with oil or liners. Blend all ingredients in a blender (I use my bullet and it works just fine). Fold in blueberries. Measure out 12 muffins into the muffin tin, and bake for 30 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
