Costco food court lovers are going to want to hear this one. Costco has begun replacing Pepsi products with Coca-Cola at its food court, ending a partnership that spanned more than a decade.

The change, which started rolling out in early July, will be completed across all New Jersey Costco locations—as well as nationwide—by the fall, according to Coca-Cola. The switch comes after Costco secured improved pricing terms and updated beverage equipment.

CEO Ron Vachris announced the transition in January during a shareholder meeting, signaling the company’s intent to revert back to Coca-Cola after switching to Pepsi in 2013.

The move affects food courts at more than 900 warehouses globally, including 625 in the United States. Canadian locations have already swapped out Pepsi for Coke products.

Online, Costco customers have taken note. Social media users shared photos of food court menus now featuring Coca-Cola branding alongside the store’s world-famous $1.50 hot dog combo.

Costco says its food courts and other ancillary services, such as gas stations and optical departments, are key to driving foot traffic. The company is on track to open 27 new locations in 2025. Seven new locations are scheduled to open in August across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
