6th Borough Market Returns To Jersey City

by Lauren Scrudato

The 6th Borough Market will be making a presence in downtown Jersey City again this year after having such a positive turnout from their debut last year. The market is held one Sunday per month to showcase the work of crafters, chefs and artists. The 6th Borough Market is the perfect excuse to get your family or group of friends together and turn an ordinary Sunday into a SundayFunday.

If you’re thinking, “Am I crazy? Where is 6th Borough?” You’re not. The concept behind the mythical 6th borough is described on the market’s site, “It is the best of both worlds: a place where we can raise our families and enjoy our friends with all the benefits of diversity and world-class culture, while also enjoying the benefits of green parks, strong neighborhoods, and room to grow.”

6th Borough Market will kick off on April 27 at 1 McWilliams Place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will then make the move to the heart of downtown Jersey City later in the season. Here’s the list of the rest of the dates to mark your calendar:

May 18

June 22

August 10

September 14

October 19
