After the almost year and a half hiatus from serving the best dishes on the Jersey City waterfront, the famed restaurant and wedding venue, Battello, has made their comeback with their reopening on January 24th.
In August 2017, Battello had originally closed down because the pier in which the restaurants was located on was deemed unsafe nor secure, causing many reservations and weddings to be called off. Now, with a completely revamped menu, Executive Chef Ryan DePersio has unveiled his modern Italian seafood dishes to the public once again.
The new and improved menu features a wide variety ranging from clams, oysters and soups to native pastas, lobster and 36oz. bone-in ribeye.
Battello is currently open for dinner only, which starts at 5 p.m. Lunch will make a return this upcoming Tuesday, Feb. 11, while brunch service begins that Saturday, Feb. 16. In passing, Battello has even begun booking weddings again as well.
