It’s 2026, and The Wellness Gala is quickly approaching. I must preface by saying: this is not a flashy promotional article boasting the ongoings of New Jersey’s one percent. Read my articles on Bravo’s housewives if you’re looking for flash and ritz… No, this article is less about the ‘who’ and more about the ‘what.’ I’m telling you, with full transparency, what will actually happen behind the curtain. Read on, dear reader, as my goal is to give you a peephole into the good deeds being done by certain members of the community.
Certain members of the community… I’m talking about YOU. Yes, the driving force behind the Gala is fuelled by author Elisa D’Amelio and wellness warrior Sabrina Cosentino, but YOU could be a part of The Wellness Gala’s groundbreaking efforts in combating suicide and mental health in New Jersey! The only thing standing between you and anyone else is your mindset. Not money, not where you live, not where you go, or who you know. Why? Mental health doesn’t discriminate. Last year, people across the state stepped up to raise awareness and resources for NJ’s youth afflicted by mental health. The bar is higher this year—but the objective is clear: more good could be done.
As soon as you step into the Rockleigh, you’ll feel a sense of community and compassion, something so rare in today’s modern age. Before stepping foot onto the red carpet and acknowledging the immaculate couture donned by the gala attendees, and before catching the glare of flashing cameras, you’ll immediately notice the energy. A visceral sense of warmth that tingles your soul.
If you attend, you’re not just dressing up for one evening of great music, food, and peers; you’re standing up for a cause that’s slowly consuming mankind. From the moment you step onto the red carpet step-and-repeat, you’ll feel an unmistakable sense of purpose.
In terms of evolution, The 2026 Wellness Gala builds upon every goal set to be achieved last year. Inspired by connection and courage, the evening will empower every voice speaking out about mental health and suicide. Building on last year’s experience, 2026 is poised to be glamourously grounded, but even more polished and elevated than 2025, as expected.

In a room where surface-level conversation would typically thrive, this gala aims to ignite a conversation and awareness on something deeper. Pillars of any solid community will include the virtues of honesty, vulnerability, and hope, and The 2026 Wellness Gala will lean into these virtues to strengthen not only the community but the future.
The room will be filled with philanthropists, designers, advocates, creatives, celebrities, public figures, mothers, fathers, siblings, and outstanding community leaders effortlessly mingling and united by their acceptance of mental wellness and its impact on every beautiful life in attendance. Sure, the red-carpet moments will be monumental—but they will be balanced, beautifully, by the power beyond the flash.
Having seen firsthand how intricately Sabrina and Ella have curated the details behind this event, I can confidently say that The Wellness Gala this year will be crafted with intention. Each and every detail—from the cadence of the program to the vibration in the ballroom—will all reflect the ethos behind making an impact where no impact has been made before.
The 2026 Wellness Gala aims to raise critical funds and essential awareness for both youth and young adults suffering from various mental health illnesses, all benefiting The JED Foundation. In a time when suicide unfortunately reigns as one of the leading causes of death among minors, JED shines as a beacon of hope with an evidence-based approach to suicide prevention, community resilience, and resources for seeking help. Their initiative is more than an impact—it saves lives. This purpose you don’t just applaud; you feel it.
The lights guiding the night are truly defining forces. Co-founders and hosts Elisa D’Amelio and Sabrina Cosentino plan to lead authentically, not performatively—which is refreshing when a ‘performance’ of sorts has come to be expected at most gala events.
Elisa, author of From Broken to Beautifully Broken, rises to the occasion on 15 May 2026 as a consequence of her own journey. After relaunching her book at last year’s gala, she continues this year to seamlessly weave her mission into the heart of the benefit, serving as a reminder: healing begins when pain is spoken.
Sabrina brings a grounding, dynamic presence all her own. As the founder of WithIN By Sabrina, who has rooted her career in wellness as a certified Integrated Health Coach, she exemplifies resilience as an honored experience earned through evolution, as opposed to a burden that defines a person’s existence.
“We are thrilled to partner with The Only Caviar’s Diego Sabino and Aaron Paul for our wellness gala event. It truly warms my heart to witness other organizations eager to extend a helping hand and collaborate for a meaningful cause.” — Sabrina Cosentino
United, they have created a space where vulnerability is honored.
Quite simply, this is not another high-society evening or elbow-bumping event for New Jersey’s icons and wealthiest individuals. It’s a gathering with a pulse, with a heart. I’m blessed to mention that last year, I worked with Sabrina, Elisa, and Nicole Greco Peepas for the benefit of the 2025 Wellness Gala. I can confirm that the girls are amping it up this year. After attending quite a few charitable galas, premieres, and black-tie benefits over the years, I can say, with conviction, that the 2026 The Wellness Gala will exemplify the unity of elegance and intention.
For me, what has always set The Wellness Gala apart from every other charity event I’ve attended is the manner in which ‘doing good’ is invited, not nudged. In the case of The Wellness Gala, the opportunity to support has been presented as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make a difference. With each ticket purchased, you could potentially save a life. For some, contributions may be sponsorships aimed to elevate the guests’ experience (valet, bar, entertainment, or key moments throughout the evening.) Other contributions could include in-kind donations with the goal of reshaping the futures of those struggling with mental health, and truly setting the tone for the evening; the ultimate contribution to the emotional and visual ambiance.
Each contribution is purposeful, personal, and graciously appreciated.
The result: Lives saved. One single evening, an atmosphere that will showcase the ultra-rare union of philanthropy and inclusion, and countless lives saved.
Forget about being a legacy donor or thinking you need to be a corporate powerhouse if you want to make a difference. At The Wellness Gala, what actually matters is where your heart is and how it aligns with the mission set forward for 2026.
As I look forward to 15 May and I think about how the night will unfold, I’m excited as I imagine how the room will ebb and flow between reflection and celebration. I imagine laughter at the tables, emotionally quiet moments during each speech, and standing ovations that honor attendees wearing their hearts on their sleeves. If this year’s Gala is anything like last’s, guests will definitely go home talking about who they saw or what they wore, but they’ll all leave talking about what the evening made them feel, and they’ll think about that for years to come.
In a landscape oversaturated with gaudy galas, especially in New Jersey, The Wellness Gala stands on a pillar above the rest.
The existence of this Gala proves three things:
1.) Red-carpet events can have duality by being both essential AND exquisite.
2.) Compassion and luxury can coexist.
3.) If a community unites with genuine intention, possibility, positivity, and power are achieved. I’m telling you this with the utmost confidence: The 2026 Wellness Gala will not be your average, surface-level, elbow-bumping, black-tie, stuck-up, super-posh event. It will be an experience you carry in your heart long after the lights dim.
