Last week, the annual Buy-Rite Super Sampler raised over $30,000 for the Sarala Bathena Foundation, The Monmouth Museum and Habitat For Humanity with a tasting of over 500 wines, beers and spirits at Eagle Oaks Golf Club in Farmingdale, NJ. Buy-Rite, which has a nearby Holmdel location, hosted their 12th annual Super Sampler at the nationally-recognized golf club with just shy of 400 guests in attendance. The event included music, live performers and a buffet dinner catered by Eagle Oaks.
Each guest had the opportunity to sample the 500 wines, beers and spirits – and the VIP section featured a caviar tasting, Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque 2007 and approximately 50 top wines and tequilas. Among these is a $700 value Penfolds Grange and Sassicaia 2015, which has been regarded as the top wine in the world, as well as a $200 craft beer, Samual Adams Utopias. The event also featured a silent auction, highlighted by a 3 Liter Fanti Brunello, Eagle Oaks Golf Foursome, 1.5 Liter Besserat de Bellefon Rose and over 40 other options. The liquor franchise, which has over 54 locations in New Jersey, has chosen a date for the 2019 Buy-Rite Super Sampler of October 19, 2019 and will again be held at Eagle Oaks Golf Club.
