Celebrate the upcoming season of The Walking Dead premiering this Sunday by experiencing what it would feel like to endure a real life zombie apocalypse. This Saturday, you have a chance to see how you would manage the same exact situations as the cast from the show. The Walking Dead Escape, an obstacle course modeled after scenes in the show, will be in New York City on Saturday, Oct. 12th from 7:15 p.m. until midnight.
You can register as a survivor or a “walkerâ€. If you chose to be a “walker†you will get decked out with professional make up for optimum scare ability. Participants will gather at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum at Pier 86 to strategically navigate through different stages: the evacuation zone, herd highway, hospital hell, and the prison gauntlet until they finally reach the quarantine zone where they will be tested to see if they have been infected along the way. Multiple obstacles will be placed throughout the course, so be prepared to run, dodge, crawl and climb your way through to stay alive.
