Two New Jersey Powerball winners are running out of time to claim their prize.
The New Jersey Lottery says two winning Powerball tickets, each sold earlier this year, will expire soon. The tickets are worth $50,000 each.
New Jersey gives Powerball winners one full year to claim their prize before it expires.
One of the winning tickets was sold at a 7-Eleven in Middlesex County on January 13. The other $50,000 ticket was sold at a wine store in Point Pleasant Beach, which will expire on February 1.
So, if you purchased a Powerball ticket from either of these locations early last year, you might want to go find it. You could be owed a measly $50,000.
