The Greatest Reunion’s of All Time

The Greatest Reunion’s of All Time

A Trip Down Memory Lane:

Everybody has that one favorite musical group that they wish would reunite, even for just one magical night. I know I do. The late 2000s has taken this idea by storm and answered many of our prayers.

Although my allegiance has always been to BSB, there was a rumor this week that ‘N SYNC would be reuniting for an incredible one night performance this year at the VMA’s. But according to former N SYNC-er Lance Bass, this may have just been an internet pipe dream. “It’s amazing to see the reaction out there on Twitter and social media … of how many people are supporting ‘N SYNC,” he said. “It’s so nice to see because when we ended things over ten years ago, there was no social media, there was no Twitter fan base, but it’s so cute to see how many people are supporting us and ‘N SYNC was even trending.” — Cute?  C’mon, Lance. Our strings are attached and we need this.

There have been some amazing reunion performances in the last ten years from some of our most beloved bands.

Here’s why ‘N SYNC should follow the trend:

1. Backstreet’s Back: The Backstreet Boys 2013

It was a dark day for me and my fellow tweens when BSB announced their breakup in the early 2000s. Luckily they quit playin’ games with my heart when they announced their 2013 tour which runs through the end of October.

2. Charlie’s Angels: Destiny’s Child 2013

Remember when Beyoncé had 2 backup singers named Kelly and Michelle? It’s been a while, but how could we forget. They had class, style and defined what being an independent woman was all about — what else could you want at 12 years old? So when Super Bowl 2013 hosted the bootylicious reunion of Destiny’s Child, my life was complete.

3. Spice Up Your Life: Spice Girls 2012

We thought the Olympics couldn’t get much better and then the Spice Girls showed up. Remember playing dress up and performing live concerts for your family as a wannabe Spice Girl? I do, because I swore I was Posh Spice. Those were the days.

4. Led Zeppelin: 2007

This classic 70’s band rocked us up the stairway to heaven at the 2007 tour in London.
