Kean University has been named one of America’s best employers in New Jersey by Forbes and Statista. The university was ranked 34th out of 101 employers in the state.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the best employers in New Jersey,” said Kean University President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees, who are committed to providing our students with a world-class education.”
Forbes and Statista based their rankings on a survey of 2.1 million employees working for companies with more than 500 employees. The survey asked employees about their opinions on work-related topics such as working conditions, diversity, salary, potential for development, and company image.
Kean University scored high in all of these categories. The university was praised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, its competitive salaries, and its opportunities for professional development. Kean also offers a variety of employee benefits, including tuition waivers for employees and their dependents, an on-site child care center, and a wellness program.
“We are committed to creating a workplace where our employees feel valued and supported,” said Repollet. “This award is a recognition of our efforts to create a positive and productive work environment.”
In addition to being named one of the best employers in New Jersey, Kean University has also been recognized for its affordability, student social mobility, and innovation. The university is one of the most affordable public universities in New Jersey, and it has a strong track record of helping students from low-income backgrounds succeed. Kean is also a national leader in innovation, and it has been awarded more than $100 million in research grants in recent years.
“We are proud to be recognized for our commitment to excellence,” said Repollet. “Kean University is a great place to work, learn, and grow.” Learn more about Kean University by visiting their website.
