A Cumberland County man already indicted in a major dogfighting case is now facing new drug charges, according to NJ.com.

Bruce G. Low Jr., 46, was arrested Monday after police say he accepted a package from India containing more than six kilograms of the opioid tapentadol. Investigators then searched his family’s property off Route 49 and found liquid morphine, drug packaging equipment and cash, according to court documents.

Low admitted to ordering the package, police said. He is charged with running a drug production facility, drug possession, and intent to distribute. He remains in jail awaiting a detention hearing.

Low was previously indicted last month in a large-scale dogfighting case tied to the same property. Authorities seized over 100 dogs and described the site as the largest dogfighting bust in New Jersey history. Pit bulls were reportedly forced to fight and left to die in pits, according to court records.

In 2006, Low served time on federal drug and weapons charges after authorities found an underground bunker on the property containing guns, drugs, and animals.
