A Runnemede woman has been arrested and charged in a murder-for-hire plot, which targeted her ex-boyfriend, a Philadelphia police officer, and his 19-year-old daughter.
26-year-old Jaclyn Diiorio is accused of offering $12,000 to a confidential informant to carry out the murders, authorities said. She was taken into custody on April 4 after allegedly meeting the informant in Gloucester Township. She provided $500 in cash as a down payment, cementing her intent.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said investigators first became aware of the plot on April 3. Diiorio was arrested the next day on the 1300 block of North Black Horse Pike. During the arrest, officers found her in possession of suspected alprazolam pills.
She faces two counts of attempted murder, one count of conspiracy to commit murder, and one count of drug possession.
Diiorio is being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing scheduled for April 9.
