After nearly a year of serving up inventive cocktails and modern American bites in the heart of Nutley, The Hudson Rose is preparing for its next big transformation. The restaurant will serve its final dinner in its current form on Saturday, July 26, as the team behind the concept prepares to launch something new in its place later this summer.

The creative minds at GAC Hospitality—including Chef Andrew Riccatelli and General Manager Eric Binder—have been quietly working on a new project that promises to shake things up all over again. While full details are still under wraps, they’re teasing a fresh, flavorful concept with serious personality.

One part of the operation that’s not going anywhere is The Harlow Room, the venue’s private event space that accommodates up to 200 guests. That side of the business will continue to operate as usual, hosting everything from weddings to corporate events.

Locals who’ve fallen in love with The Hudson Rose’s playful vibe and elevated food and drink are encouraged to stop in before the July 26 sendoff. The team plans to celebrate the closing stretch with a few fun surprises, and updates on the new project will be shared via Instagram as the relaunch day approaches.

The Hudson Rose originally brought a fresh dose of energy to Franklin Avenue with its sleek design and elevated yet approachable menu. Now, GAC Hospitality is getting ready to raise the bar again.
