New Jersey shoppers have two new Targets to look forward to this March.

West Orange Gets a Brand-New Target

In West Orange, a large-format Target will open on March 15 at 235 Prospect Avenue, near I-280 at Eagle Rock Avenue.

The 150,000-square-foot store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will bring approximately 280 new jobs to the area. The West Orange Target will employ up-to-date services, including drive-up, order pickup, same-day delivery via Target Circle 360, and next-day delivery for residents in the area

The store will also feature an on-site CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, and Target Optical.

Target Coming to Journal Square

Meanwhile, over in Jersey City, a smaller 40,000-square-foot Target will open in Journal Square. Opening date is also set for March 15. The small-format store will similarly include a Starbucks, a CVS Pharmacy, and Target’s own popular brands. The Journal Square Target is expected to hire close to 100 workers.

These openings outline a broader trend of continued expansion of Target in New Jersey. The Garden State is now home to around 55 Target stores.

The new Target locations aim to provide convenient shopping, a wide range of products, and hundreds of jobs for local residents.
