Firefighters in New Jersey are battling a new wildfire, this time in Burlington County’s Evesham Township. Aerial footage captured Thursday morning shows thick smoke rising from the blaze.

The fire is located near Kettle Run Road and Sycamore Avenue. According to Evesham police, Kettle Run Road is currently closed between Braddock Mill Road and Hopewell Road.

At this time, there’s no official estimate of the fire’s size or reports on whether homes are at risk.

This follows an ongoing battle against the “Shotgun Wildfire” in Jackson Township, Ocean County, which began Wednesday. That fire has burned 300 acres and is 40 percent contained as of Thursday morning, with six structures still at risk, however, no injuries have been reported in either fire.
