Marlton has been ranked the second hottest ZIP code in the country by Realtor.com, marking the second consecutive year a Burlington County community has placed near the top of the list.
The 08053 ZIP code trailed only Beverly, Massachusetts, in the real estate platform’s 2025 rankings, which measure buyer demand and market pace. Properties in Marlton typically stayed on the market just 17 days and drew nearly four unique viewers each, among the fastest turnarounds in the country.
Median list prices in Marlton reached $534,900 in June, a 22% jump from last year, with homes selling at an average of 104% of asking price. More than half of property views came from outside the Philadelphia area, including a quarter from the New York metro.
Realtor.com’s chief economist said demand in the Northeast is being driven by buyers from high-cost regions seeking more space and amenities without sacrificing access to jobs. In South Jersey, Marlton’s appeal includes newer housing, competitive commutes to Center City Philadelphia, and proximity to both New York and the Jersey Shore.
Other New Jersey communities also made the top 50, with Wayne ranking fifth and Trenton placing 41st.
