A five-story industrial building that once housed the Continental Can Company and later Emerson Radio has been transformed into luxury lofts in the heart of Jersey City.
Radio Lofts, located at 316 15th Street in the SoHo West neighborhood near the Hoboken border, has completed construction and opened leasing on 140 loft-style residences.
The adaptive reuse project is the second phase of the Hudson House development, led by RXR, Columbia Property Trust, Strategic Value Partners LLC, and One Investment Management.
What Makes It Different

The building’s industrial bones are very much part of the appeal.
Ceilings stretch up to 12 feet high, exposed brick runs throughout, and oversized windows flood each unit with natural light. The result is a loft-style apartment that sticks to the building’s roots.
Modern finishes layer on top: white oak flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washers and dryers. Select units include private outdoor spaces—some sport breathtaking Manhattan skyline views.
The Amenities

Hudson House’s amenity package is substantial.
Residents enjoy access to a pool deck with cabanas, a rooftop terrace with grilling stations, an indoor-outdoor fitness center, coworking lounges, and a game room. There’s also an indoor basketball court, an indoor soccer field, and a golf simulator.
What It Costs

Monthly rents start at $2,975 after grand opening incentives. Layouts range from studios to three-bedrooms across the 320,000-square-foot building. A one-bedroom runs around $4,054 per month; a three-bedroom starts around $7,110.
The building is aimed at commuters, with strong transit access. Shuttle services run to the Hoboken Terminal, which serves PATH, NJ Transit, NY Waterway ferries, and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail.
For a building that spent a century making cans and radios, it’s quite the second act.
