The Mark Cuban Foundation, in partnership with South Jersey Gas, is offering a unique artificial intelligence (AI) bootcamp to high school students in Atlantic City, free of charge. The program aims to provide world-class AI education to prepare students for the latest technological advancements.
Accessible and Engaging Curriculum
The AI bootcamp is designed for students in grades 9-12 with an interest in technology, regardless of their prior experience with computer science or programming. Over three half-days, students will learn about AI fundamentals, its applications in their daily lives, ethical implications, and more. They will also gain hands-on experience with ChatGPT and Microsoft’s cloud computing tools to build their own AI applications. I reached out to Cuban for a comment. “We are excited to bring the boot camp to AC. AI is a growing part of our lives. Teaching high school kids how to use it will prepare them not only for college but for the real world,” says Cuban.
I’m a huge Mark Cuban fan as I personally believe this will benefit teens in New Jersey from a career standpoint, which will also help these students earn a strong salary down the road. AI is the fastest growing space at the moment and showing no signs of slowing down.
