I’ve always been the kind of person who works better with two screens. At the office, I keep a dual monitor setup going all day. The problem is, once I’m on the road or working from a coffee shop, I’m stuck with just my laptop. That’s where the Duex Lite attachable monitor has been a lifesaver.
Setup was surprisingly simple. I stuck it on my 12-inch Lenovo, plugged in the USB-C cable, and that was it. No drivers, no downloads, nothing fancy — it just worked. If you don’t have USB-C, there’s also a mini-HDMI option. It runs on Windows, Mac, Chrome, Linux, even Android and Switch, which is pretty wild.

What I noticed right away is how light it is. Compared to older portable monitors I’ve tried, this one’s about a third lighter and noticeably thinner. Tossing it in my bag doesn’t feel like I’m lugging around another laptop.
Looks-wise, it’s sleek without being boring. The matte finish is clean, and you can pick from six colors: deep grey, sky blue, jadeite green, misty lilac, set sail blue, or white. I went blue, but I like that there are playful options if you want your setup to stand out.

Day-to-day, it’s been perfect for the way I work. I can pull up client files on one screen, notes on the other, or stream something while I chip away at edits. It’s basically the same workflow I’m used to at home, but portable.
Bottom line: if you can’t live without a second monitor and hate feeling boxed in when you’re away from your desk, the Duex Lite is worth it. Lightweight, easy, and actually kind of fun to use.
