Natural wine lovers, I’ve got the event for you. The Bobo & Friends Natural Wine Fair will showcase organic and low-intervention wines at Artie’s in Maplewood on Sunday, June 29. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and feature more than 180 natural wines from across the globe.

Tickets are $25 for industry professionals and $50 for the public in advance. Admission at the door will be $65. Proceeds will benefit the American Friends Service Committee and the Pinelands Preservation Alliance.

The event brings together leading importers in the natural wine field, including Bobo Selections, Jenny & Francois, Zev Rovine Selections, Vinum, Skin Contact Wines and others. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with importers and sample wines made using organic farming and minimal-intervention practices.

The fair will include tastings, talks on sustainable viticulture and winemaking, and food pairings featuring artisan focaccia, cheese, and charcuterie.

It’s a space for wine professionals and enthusiasts to explore the only sector of the wine industry showing consistent growth in the U.S. and Europe.

What Is Natural Wine?

Natural wines typically contain little to no sulfur, are unfiltered, and use wild yeast. The goal is to present wines that reflect health-conscious methods and environmental responsibility. Natural wines often mimic their environments with a bold-faced terroir that is sometimes missing in traditional winemaking.

This is the second Bobo & Friends fair held in New Jersey. The first took place in Jersey City in 2024.
