Holland Ridge Farms is preparing to open its fields for the annual Fall Flower Festival, set to run September 12 through October 13.
The 300-acre picturesque farm will feature rows of sunflowers, dahlias, gladiolus and calla lilies. Guests are able to pick stems by the bucketful. New attractions this year include a “Moovie Theater” with a short film about the family-run farm, six rentable picnic pods, and photo booths.
Weekend visitors will find beer, wine and cocktails at the Bloom Bar. Other activities include a petting zoo, pony rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, food trucks and a farmers market. Hayride shuttles and golf-cart rentals are available to help guests move around the grounds.
Admission is $17 on weekdays and $20 on weekends for ages 3 and up. Children under 3 are free. Group discounts are offered for schools and large parties. Parking is free.
Tickets are sold by timed entry slots between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., but visitors may stay until closing at 6 p.m.
