Are you really in quarantine if you didn’t make banana bread 🍌? Don’t throw out those over ripe dark brown bananas that I know you all have on your counter 👀! Recipe below ⬇️ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ Ingredients:⁣ – 5 very ripe bananas⁣ – 1/2 c unsalted butter (melted)⁣ – 1 cup granulated sugar⁣ – 2 large eggs⁣ – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ⁣ – 2 cups All Purpose flour ⁣ – 1 teaspoon baking soda⁣ – pinch kosher salt⁣ – 1/2c semi sweet chocolate chips .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ Directions:⁣ – Preheat oven time 350°F⁣ – In a large bowl mash up the bananas with a fork until smooth⁣ – Add the sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract and whisk until well combined⁣ – Add in the dry ingredients into the same bowl ( AP flour, baking soda, salt) and mix until all the dry ingredients are fully incorporated⁣ – In a small bowl toss the chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of AP flour ( this prevents the chocolate from falling to the bottom of the Bundt and allows them to evenly distribute throughout)⁣ – Fold in the chocolate chips into the batter⁣ – Grease a bundt pan and pour the batter into the pan⁣ – Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean ⁣ ⁣ #bananabread #quarantinecooking #stayathome #hoboken #hobokennj #baking #bakingfromscratch

Please share this if you think people will feel better about themselves 🖤 Would you rather be bored or go without food all day? These are trying times and those without basic necessities are feeling the burn, the most. Walking hundreds of miles to reach their homes because nobody is hiring… Probably won't for few more days. In this time of social distancing the are people who gather around in huge crowds just so they can claim a packet of food for themselves and their family. I really hope nobody gets this disease… I also hope these unfortunate people are given some sort of help. Nothing great… Just the basic stuff will do. If you've reached this far I this caption… Help someone in need. Don't go out of your way… Stay within the guidelines prescribed… But maybe help someone if you can. If you can't… Maybe pray for them? If you can't… The least you can do this count yourself among the fortunate ones. Trust me… Limited stuff to stream online is not all that bumming.
