A productive day rarely happens in one place anymore. It might begin with notes taken over coffee, continue through a commute into Manhattan, move into back-to-back meetings, and end with a few documents reviewed from the sofa.
The problem is that information tends to scatter along the way. One idea lands in a paper notebook, another gets typed into a phone, meeting notes disappear into a laptop folder, and a voice recording sits untouched because nobody has time to replay an hour-long conversation.
The iFLYTEK AINOTE 2 and AINOTE Air 2 are designed for that fragmented reality. Both devices combine E-Ink displays with AI tools that can transcribe conversations, organize notes, generate summaries, and make handwritten information searchable. The experience still centers on writing and reading, but the material captured throughout the day becomes far easier to retrieve and use.
Which AINOTE Fits Your Routine?
The two models share the same general purpose, though each is shaped for a different kind of day.

The flagship AINOTE 2 is the model for people who regularly sit down with substantial reports, project plans, interviews, or meeting notes. Its 10.65-inch display gives handwriting and document annotation room to breathe, while the 4.2mm body has earned it a Guinness World Record as the world’s thinnest E-Ink tablet.
Its AI features are geared toward serious information management. The device can identify speakers during recordings, transcribe conversations in multiple languages, translate discussions, and convert handwriting into searchable Markdown text across 133 languages. GPT-5-powered summaries can also pull out key points and action items, which is useful when a 45-minute meeting needs to become a clear list of next steps.
The AINOTE Air 2 is easier to imagine slipping into a tote bag before heading out the door. Its 8.2-inch screen and lighter frame make it a natural companion for commuters, students, journalists, and professionals who spend more of the day moving between locations.
A built-in front light supports late-night reading or dim train rides, while the camera can scan printed documents directly into the device. Handwritten notes can be linked with recorded audio, allowing users to tap a note later and revisit the corresponding moment from a lecture, interview, or meeting.
Five Places an AI Paper Tablet Makes Sense
On the morning commute: Review a PDF, mark up a presentation, or capture the day’s priorities without opening a laptop in a crowded carriage.
During a client meeting: Write naturally while the device records, transcribes, and helps organize the conversation afterward.
In class or at a conference: Connect handwritten notes to audio so important explanations can be revisited later.
At a café or shared workspace: Work through ideas in a focused E-Ink environment without a bright display dominating the table.
At the end of the day: Search notes, review AI-generated action items, and move unfinished tasks into tomorrow’s schedule.
That last point may be the real appeal of the AINOTE series. These devices do not simply provide another place to write something down. They are designed to keep those notes useful once the day becomes busy and attention shifts elsewhere.
