Where to Find Girl Scout Cookies in New Jersey This Season

Peter Candia

It’s that time of year again—Girl Scout cookies are back for the season in New Jersey. And this year, a new cookie joins the lineup.

The newest flavor from the Girl Scouts is Exploremores, an ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie that combines chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond crème, taking cues from rocky road.

New Girl Scout cookie flavors don’t always live up to their hype, but if you ask me, Exploremores is poised to be an instant classic—right beside the likes of Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs.

The 2026 Girl Scout Cookies Lineup

The flavor lineup for 2026 is packed with the timeless classics, a new face, and some underrated heavy hitters. It’s important to note that cookies can vary slightly in name and structure depending on where they are purchased.

The 2026 lineup includes timeless favorites, a new addition, and some underrated hits. Note: cookies may vary slightly depending on where they’re sourced—North Jersey troops bake from one facility, while some South Jersey troops use another. For example, Samosas in the north are known as Caramel Delites in parts of the south.

Without further ado, the full 2026 Girl Scout cookies roster:

Thin Mints: The classic dark chocolate-and-mint cookie is a fan-favorite for good reason. Tip: stock up on boxes at a time and freeze them—some like Thin Mints better cold!

Trefoil: This buttery shortbread cookie is the original, and a staple in Girl Scout lore.

Tagalongs / Peanut Butter Patties: A crisp cookie, smeared with creamy peanut butter, and doused in chocolate… What’s not to like?

Samosas / Caramel Delites: Another fan-favorite, Samosas combine toasted coconut with dark chocolate, caramel, and a crisp cookie.

Do-si-dos / Peanut Butter Sandwich: Two crunchy, oatmeal cookies surround a layer of peanut butter goodness.

Caramel Chocolate Chip: This chewy chocolate chip cookie is also gluten-free.

Adventurefuls: A relatively new addition to the team, Adventurefuls include a brownie-like cookie, dolloped with caramel crème and sea salt.

Lemonades: It’s buttery, crisp, and, somehow, refreshing. Lemonades bring bright lemon icing to a classic shortbread cookie.

Lemon-Ups: A straightforward, lemon-flavored cookie with a twist: each Lemon-Up comes with an inspirational message on the top.

Toffee-tastic: Another gluten-free option, Toffee-tastic cookies come with crunchy bits of toffee studded throughout.

Exploremores: New this year, Exploremores sandwich marshmallow, and almond crème between two rich, chocolate cookies.
