Newark Restaurant Week is set to commence on September 22. This 10-day extravaganza will shine a spotlight on Newark’s dynamic dining landscape, featuring a diverse selection of delectable dishes, enticing cocktails, and delightful treats. Participating in this event are both beloved longstanding establishments and exciting newcomers hailing from Newark’s five distinct wards.
Newark Restaurant Week
Newark Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity for casual foodies and dining experts alike to experience an array of local cuisines. Over 30 separate restaurants are participating this year. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails—you name it, and Newark Restaurant Week has you covered.
Hosted by Invest Newark, Newark Restaurant Week provides a distinctive opportunity for culinary enthusiasts to show their support for local businesses. This event features a diverse selection of eateries, including newcomers like Five Corners—a fresh addition to the Ironbound’s Italian dining scene—as well as beloved local staples such as Hobby’s Delicatessen and Magic Cones Plant-Based Ice Cream. Spanning across all five wards, you’ll be close to a participating restaurant no matter where you are in the city.
Diners will enjoy a selection of pre-fixe menus or exclusive offers at each participating spot. Some of our favorite offers are the $42 three-course lunch at Five Corners and Dim Sum Happy Hour at Tinjune Downtown.
Additional Promotion
Newark Restaurant Week is also unveiling the #NewarkRW Foodie Passport—new this year—promoting the exploration of the city’s diverse neighborhoods. Diners who enjoy a meal at one restaurant in each of Newark’s five wards can participate in a drawing for a $1,000 Newark Gift Card once the event concludes.
