NJ Transit Launches Interactive Pizza and Beer Map

When I close my eyes and think of New Jersey, two things immediately come to mind: pizza and NJ Transit.

NJ Transit recently launched a new tool that brings these two worlds together. The interactive Pizza and Pints map showcases around 150 pizzerias, wineries, breweries and more that are in walking distance to the agency’s bus, rail and light rail stations.

In a statement about the newly launched feature, NJ Transit CEO Kris Kolluri stated: “’Pizza and Pints’ is designed to boost economic activity for New Jersey-based businesses while increasing recreational ridership by offering new and existing customers the opportunity to visit some of New Jersey’s best spots by public transit.”

Using the map is simple. You plug in your bus, rail or light rail line and hit “apply.” The map will show you a list of spots along the route.

Businesses that want to be featured in the map can send an email to [email protected].
