Atlantic City has no shortage of dining options—but a steakhouse that nails every course from the first bite to the last sip is harder to find than you’d think. Park Place Prime inside Bally’s Atlantic City is exactly that. We recently paid a visit, and it delivered on every front.
Park Place Prime

We kicked things off with the crispy calamari, and it set the tone for the entire evening. Perfectly golden, tender on the inside with just the right amount of crunch, and served with a dipping sauce that had enough acidity to cut through the richness. It’s the kind of appetizer that disappears from the table fast. Order two.
The real star of any serious steakhouse is the beef, and Park Place Prime’s porterhouse delivers. A generous, beautifully marbled cut, cooked to a precise temperature with a sear that formed a perfect crust. Part New York strip, part filet mignon—all confidence. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or treating yourself on a Tuesday, this is the dish that justifies the trip.
Here’s where Park Place Prime quietly separates itself from the pack: the bar program. The Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned was exceptional—balanced, not overly sweet, with the bourbon front and center where it belongs. It’s the kind of cocktail that makes you slow down and savor the moment, and the perfect bookend to a rich, indulgent meal.
The Verdict

Park Place Prime isn’t just a steakhouse, but a whole event. From the crispy calamari to a flawlessly executed porterhouse and one of the best Old Fashioneds we’ve had in the state, this is a dining experience worth seeking out. If you’re making a trip to Atlantic City and you’re not eating here, you’re missing the best meal the city has to offer.
