OpenTable’s annual Top 100 Restaurants list is here and one New Jersey spot made the list.

Unlike critics’ picks, OpenTable’s list is driven entirely by real-world demand and diner reviews, highlighting the restaurants that people really want to eat at. The company looked at more than 10 million reviews to establish this year’s list, determining the best of the best by percentage of five-star reviews, reservation demand and typical diner ratings. Among the standout restaurants this year is a New Jersey favorite, earning its rightful spot on the OpenTable Top 100.

The Saddle River Inn has been named one of the top 100 restaurants in the country by OpenTable. Chef Jamie Knott’s fine dining powerhouse has become a staple in Bergen County since he took over the cozy restaurant more than a decade ago.

A true dining destination, Saddle River Inn was named one of the best restaurants in New Jersey last year. Knott expertly combines classic French cooking with a variety of global flavors and ingredients to create what is easily one of North Jersey’s finest menus.

Pan-roasted duck breast comes with stir-fried noodles and crispy rice—tender veal loin is pounded, breaded and given the “parmigiana” treatment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to Jamie Knott’s cooking, but the constant across the Saddle River Inn menu is a total dedication to technique. This approach makes it a must-try for any NJ diner.

Diners seem to agree, as Saddle River Inn stays booked, busy and maintains an impressive 4.9 rating on OpenTable. All of these aspects add up to make it one of the top 100 restaurants in the nation.

The Saddle River Inn is located at 2 Barnstable Court in Saddle River, New Jersey.
