Hoboken Literary Weekend

Taking place this weekend, April 5 to 7, Little City Books brings our community the first-ever Hoboken Literary Weekend. Designed to be an annual affair, the weekend’s events will take place over the course of three days at Little City Book, Hoboken Public Library, Hoboken High School and The Jubilee Center. The weekend will include a line up of writers and authors (both local and international) for both kids and adults.

The Schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 5th
4 pm at the Hoboken Public Library
Denis Markell
Kids 10-15ish FREE

7 pm at Little City Books
Opening Remarks by Mayor Ravi Bhalla
Anna Quindlen in conversation with David Levithan:  TICKET
Their conversation, Q&A, and signing will be followed by a whiskey tasting hosted by spirits author Clay Risen.

Saturday, April 6th
11 am at Little City Books
Picture book illustrator Nancy Carpenter, and author/illustrator Jessie Sima: FREE (please RSVP to reserve a space)
Kids 0-7 ish

2 pm at Little City Books
Author Colm Tóibín speaks about his new book Mad, Bad, Dangerous to Know: The Fathers of Wilde, Yeats, and Joyce TICKET

4 pm at Hoboken High School
