New Jersey’s mega-mall, American Dream, has become a must-visit destination for nearby residents and tourists alike. With a range of retail stores, water park, a massive candy shop and more, a new ferris wheel is set to become a part of the attraction lineup. American Dream Mall and Skyviews of America have announced the opening date of the Dream Wheel — a 300-foot ferris wheel — for April 13, 2022. Here’s what you should know prior to the opening of this new attraction.
What We Know About The New Attraction at American Dream
The Dream Wheel will feature breathtaking views of both the Manhattan skyline and Meadowlands located in East Rutherford, NJ. This ferris wheel will contain 27 enclosed temperature-controlled gondolas. Each gondola will be able to hold 16 passengers. Guests can expect the ride to last for a total of 30 minutes. It constantly turns without ever stopping.
To get a real feel of being in a carnival, a carnival-themed concession stand will be opening up on the same day as the Dream Wheel. Named “Deep Fried Love,” guests will have the chance to dine on classic fair foods. You can expect signature treats like deep-fried Oreos, nutella funnel cake and fried twinkies to be on the menu. While the Dream Wheel rises up 300 feet in the air, visitors can munch on their carnival favorites and observe the outside views at the same time.
