Visit These 6 Ridgewood Boutiques

Apricot Lane Ridgewood Boutique

Few towns are quite as nice as Ridgewood, NJ when it comes to going for a stroll and getting a bite, which is something of a claim to fame for the Bergen County town.

“Is there anything to do here but eat?” I’ve had friends from out of town ask. The answer is, there is. Ridgewood is also a town with diverse clothing options, offering a selection of quaint boutiques, both franchise and local. Here are just a few of the boutiques and clothing shops located in downtown Ridgewood.

Fox’s

A two-floor boutique located on E. Ridgewood Avenue, Fox’s houses a wide selection of both luxury and affordable pieces—you just have to look. On the main floor, you can typically find outerwear and warmer pieces. Downstairs, they mostly have shoes as well as some coats and dresses. What makes Fox’s unique is that they carry designer brands for discounted prices—we’re talking over 60 percent off retail price.

Suite201

Like Fox’s, Suite201 also specializes in carrying established brands. A list of brands can be found here. Located on S. Walnut Street, this spot is difficult to come by despite being just off E. Ridgewood Avenue. Discounted designer never looked this good.

Hot Jewelry Box Inc.

I used to overlook Hot Jewelry Box, which sits on the corner of E. Ridgewood Avenue and Cottage Place, but an outdoor sale lured me in. It looks quite a bit smaller from the outside, but when you walk in, it really does live up to the name. With rows upon rows of inexpensive jewelry, hair accessories, bags, shawls, hats and piercings, it’s quite difficult not to leave with something that caught your eye. They recently opened a new location in Englewood.

Apricot Lane Boutique

Apricot Lane used to be far up E. Ridgewood Avenue in a tiny shoebox-like space but recently moved into the heart of downtown into a larger space. With already affordable prices, this boutique continues to mark down pieces, making their clothes even cuter for being accessible.

Talbots

Found on quiet S. Walnut Street, Talbots focuses on everyday, comfortable wear. Items here are definitely on the more expensive end, but with their current sale, pieces are 40 to 50 percent off. It’s the perfect spot to get classy, cozy pieces for Mom for the holidays.
