April has proven to be a busy month at Word bookstore in Jersey City. A week and a half into April, Word has already had five events and there’s still more to come.

Spring Cleaning with the Literacy Exchange:
Get a jump on spring cleaning with help from the Literacy Exchange which will be covering topics like decluttering, donating clothes and books and much more.
Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m.
World Book Night Pick-Up Party:
Third year of World Book Night during which volunteers go their communities to distribute free paperbacks to light or non-readers, in order to promote literacy. Great cause to support and celebrate.
Thursday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
Growing Good Readers with Jamie Zibulsky:
Jamie Zibulsky's presentation for parents and educators on her how-to guide, Book Smart, to help children become successful and motivated readers.
