New York Denim Days is back for its second year this fall (September 21-23), celebrating the diversity of the city’s denim industry. Brought to you by beloved denim insiders, the festival sets out to connect denim professionals, designers and brands with true indigo enthusiasts. Whether you’re searching for the perfect fit, unique fade, or just want to talk shop with other goers — you’ll find the largest selection of denim at one singular event during New York Denim Days.
The festival kicks off on September 21st with an invitation-only “Denim Legend Talks” — a day of denim lectures from top designers, creatives and executives. Tickets for September 22nd can be purchased for $10 and the street bazaar on September 23rd is free for the public. Ticket holders will also receive discounted rides to and from the festival courtesy of LYFT.
Day 1 of the two-day main festival will be held at Metropolitan Pavilion located at 125 West 18th Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Day 2 will be also be held on West 18th Street, but running between 6th Ave. and 7th Ave from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Along with plenty of indigo offerings, they will also have food, live entertainment, games, art and selfie stations.
This year, New York Denim Days will get a special head start during New York Fashion Week (September 6-14) and consumers can look forward to pop-up shops at New York Waterway terminals during those dates.
“With its mix of denim heads, the best brands and retailers and the most forward fashion, New York is the perfect home for Denim Days. We are thrilled to be back this year and will be shining an even bigger spotlight on the jeans industry,” said Andrew Olah, one of the New York Denim Days organizers and founder of the Kingpins Show, the global denim sourcing trade show.
