Summer Shenanigans at Borgata Beer Garden
By Alex Park
Open daily to the public, the all-new Borgata Beer Garden is here to quench your summer thirst. Located in Atlantic City, the full-service canopied bar serves more than 15 craft and domestic beers, alongside bar snacks and bites open daily to the public. The Borgata Beer Garden hosts live band performances every Friday through Saturday, and in addition to live entertainment, guests have the option to participate in special Borgata Hotel events including Beer-N-Bites Happy Hour, Pig Roast Thursdays, and Sunday Scotch and Cigars.
It’s not all about the variety of beers; guests of the Borgata Beer Garden can try out special menu items by Borgata’s Executive Chef Tom Biglan, including Watermelon Salad with Feta and Micro Greens, Smashed Brisket and Short Rib Burger, and Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap. Guests can also try signature cocktail drinks like the Cuban Peach, Honeydew Mimosa, and Cucumber Cooler.
Next to the Borgata Beer Garden is also an outdoor pool which features over 300 chaise lounges, daybeds, and cabanas that surround a 3,200-square-foot Roman-Style pool with capacity for more than 1,000 guests. If you’re not feeling the water, lay on the many hammocks beside the lounges, or challenge friends and families to a game of ping pong.
“With the launch of Borgata Beer Garden and Outdoor Pool, we are thrilled to present our hotel guests with an excellent outdoor amenity, offered seven days a week, that effectively reinforces the resort as the summer destination in Atlantic City,” says Joe Lupo, Senior Vice President of Operations for Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. “Furthermore, the evolution of The Cafeteria into the upscale Marketplace Eatery supports Borgata’s commitment to provide to most diverse and innovative culinary experiences in the region.”
Happy hour is every Sunday through Thursday from 5pm until 7pm where guests have a selection of 16 ounce brews including Borgata Greenhead Summer Shandy, Bud Light, Miller Lite and Coors Light for only $4. To complement your beer, order from the happy hour bites menu, featuring tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa, French fries, Coney Island dogs, smashed brisket and short rib burgers and fried chicken tenders, all for only $6.
