6th Borough Market

6th borough market

6th Borough Market is the perfect excuse to gather your friends or family to have a Sunday Funday. The market offers an assortment of goodies and is open every 2nd and 4th Sunday between May and October from 11 am to 5 pm.  There are crafters, artists, fashion designers, bakers, collectors, and chefs who share their pieces, collections, and ready to eat foods with the community.

The market borrows its name from a local nickname for the area, and sees the “6th Borough” as the best of both worlds – where urban and more family-friendly lifestyles mix in perfect harmony, and people get the benefits of both.

6th Borough Market’s vendors use the market to share their ideas and passions with the community. It allows the vendors to get to know who their customers are, what the customers wants, and vise versa. These person to person interactions create relationships between the vendors and customers which is refreshing since we live in a time of impersonal internet shopping and department stores. Some favorite regular vendors are L.O.V.E. Furniture, Soap for Sinners, and Choc O Pain Bakery.

6th Borough Market stimulates of all the senses and is located at:
Montgomery St. at Marin Blvd.
(Behind City Hall)
Jersey City, NJ 07302
